Job Description

Production Technician – Animal Health Manufacturing

Berkshire

£20,000–£22,000

\n

\n

30 hours per week – rotating shifts

\n

\n

We are recruiting a Production Technician to join an established animal health manufacturing team. This hands-on opportunity would suit either a recent science graduate or someone with production experience who is comfortable working at technician level.

\n

The role:

\n

    \n
  • Carry out manufacturing and packaging operations in accordance with SOPs.
  • \n

  • Work to GMP, quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • \n

  • Complete in-process checks, environmental monitoring and batch documentation.
  • \n

  • Operate production equipment and perform basic maintenance and changeovers.
  • \n

  • Report deviations, safety concerns and mechanical issues promptly.
  • \n

  • Support process improvements and wider departmental projects.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate records and a safe, organised working environment.
  • \n

About you:

\n

    \n
  • A science-related degree is preferred but not essential.
  • \n

  • Manufacturing, production or laboratory experience would be advantageous.
  • \n

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • \n

  • Comfortable following regulated procedures and completing documentation.
  • \n

  • A proactive and collaborative team player.
  • \n

Shift pattern:

\n

The role operates on a rotating three-week pattern:

\n

    \n
  • Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–6:00pm
  • \n

  • Seven days off
  • \n

  • Thursday–Saturday, 7:30am–6:00pm
  • \n

  • Sunday off
  • \n

  • Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–6:00pm
  • \n

\n

\n

Due to the site’s location and working hours, applicants must have their own transport.
