A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production Operative to support the safe and efficient output of high-quality products. This role plays an important part in maintaining production standards, contributing to continuous improvement activities and supporting day-to-day factory operations across a rotating 3 shift pattern (mornings + afternoons + nights).

Production Operative Responsibilities:

  • Follow all site safety rules, policies and legal requirements (including COSHH and Health & Safety at Work Act).
  • Maintain compliance with BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN 9100 standards.
  • Operate production equipment efficiently while reducing waste and cost.
  • Support ongoing improvements to products, processes and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, orderliness and equipment care.
  • Assist with general factory duties across the site & contribute to site security as required.
  • Participate in all training provided by the company.
  • Support Team Leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth shift operations.

Production Operative Requirements:

  • Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic numeracy & computer literacy skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently once trained.
