An established UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to lead and develop its Quality and Environmental Management Systems. This is a key position focused on compliance, continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and maintaining high operational standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and environmental legislation.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead projects relating to waste reduction, recycling, sustainability, and carbon reduction.
  • Deliver quality and environmental training where required.
  • Provide reporting and updates to senior management.
  • Support customer compliance and information requests.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental improvement strategies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Relevant Quality and/or Environmental qualifications would be advantageous.
