An established UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to lead and develop its Quality and Environmental Management Systems. This is a key position focused on compliance, continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and maintaining high operational standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and environmental legislation.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead projects relating to waste reduction, recycling, sustainability, and carbon reduction.
- Deliver quality and environmental training where required.
- Provide reporting and updates to senior management.
- Support customer compliance and information requests.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Auditing experience.
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental improvement strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Relevant Quality and/or Environmental qualifications would be advantageous.
