A well-established precision engineering company is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their manufacturing team. The business produces high-precision components for technically demanding industries and operates a modern, well-equipped machine shop. This role will involve programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing complex components to tight tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Role: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Oxfordshire, commutable from Oxford, Didcot, Abingdon, Witney, Banbury & Swindon

Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
- Produce components to tight tolerances.
- Create tooling layouts and setup documentation.
- Inspect completed components using measurement equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
- Support continuous improvement within the machine shop.
Requirements:
- Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines.
- Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience producing parts to tight tolerances.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Positive and reliable approach to work.
Desirable:
- Experience with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
