A leading global supplier of advanced materials to the Aerospace, Automotive, and Industrial sectors is seeking an Engineering Technician to join its expanding team in Cambridge.
As their Engineering Technician, you will play an integral role in evaluating and developing new manufacturing technologies. Working within the Manufacturing Team, you will help define equipment requirements, conduct experimental trials, and support the development of robust, production-ready solutions that push the boundaries of high-performance materials manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to innovative engineering projects aligned with the manufacturing team and wider Research & Technology strategy.
- Define equipment requirements and evaluate solutions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Perform lab-based experiments and trials, generating high-quality data to support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate across disciplines to integrate new technologies into future manufacturing lines.
- Communicate findings and technical insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Follow procedures and reporting requirements for assigned projects.
- Support team objectives, including EH&S compliance and 5S continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
