As a Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll support the business in maintaining and promoting safe working practices across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role that involves regular travel, with your time split between the Walsall office and various UK project locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards
- Support the delivery of toolbox talks and on-site safety briefings
- Assist in reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to embed a positive safety culture
- Help investigate incidents and near misses, contributing to continuous improvement
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance on health and safety matters
- Previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role (construction experience desirable but not essential)
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of UK health and safety legislation
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The right to work in the UK
- Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
