We’re supporting an innovative clean energy company developing next‑generation energy technology, looking to bring in a Quality Engineer to strengthen quality across engineering, manufacturing and product development. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the product and the shop floor, driving quality improvements in a fast‑moving engineering environment.

The Role
- Working across engineering, production and prototype build activities, you’ll help improve product and process quality, support problem solving, and contribute to continuous improvement across the operation.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve product and process quality across engineering, production and prototyping
- Work closely with teams on the shop floor to identify, resolve and elevate quality issues
- Maintain and develop the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Lead investigations into non‑conformances using structured tools such as 8D and 5 Whys
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve right‑first‑time delivery
- Support internal/external audits, quality reporting and data analysis
- Assist with inspection activities across incoming materials and finished products
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality‑focused role within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
- Hands‑on approach with confidence operating on the shop floor
- Experience using root cause analysis and structured problem‑solving tools
- Good communication skills, able to work across teams and elevate issues where needed
- Continuous improvement mindset with a practical approach to solving problems
