A rapidly growing clean‑energy engineering business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead a specialist team delivering industrial electrical design and project support.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and allocate resources within the Electrical Engineering team.
- Ensure engineering quality, safety and compliance across all deliverables.
- Define system‑level electrical architectures and produce schematics & documentation.
- Specify electrical components and generate manufacturing packages.
- Support integration, commissioning, and fault‑finding activities.
- Contribute to safety reviews (HAZOP, FMEA, SIL etc.).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and present to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong industrial electrical design experience (control panels, wiring, instrumentation).
- Knowledge of BS7671:2018 & EN 60204.
- Functional safety experience (EN 61511).
- PLC systems – ideally Siemens.
- ATEX experience beneficial.
- Hands‑on testing and problem‑solving ability.
- Able to travel internationally when required.
