The Role
As a Graduate Chemical Technician, you will support research, product development and technical service activities through laboratory testing, formulation preparation and data analysis. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing chemical blends, formulations and test samples for internal and external evaluation
- Conducting laboratory testing using established procedures and industry standards
- Recording, analysing and reporting experimental results
- Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting specialist laboratory equipment
- Supporting product stability and compatibility studies
- Assisting with technical projects from initiation through to completion
- Managing laboratory inventory, samples and consumables
- Maintaining accurate records in line with quality and ISO requirements
- Working safely and promoting best practice laboratory standards
- Collaborating with scientists, chemists and technical teams across the organisation
