We’re hiring an Analytical Technician to support the evaluation and testing of materials used in ELISA-based diagnostic kits. About the Role
Working under the guidance of the Analytical Supervisor, you'll help test and evaluate raw materials—including antigens, antibodies, and sera—as well as support the manufacturing process for diagnostic ELISA kits. You’ll play a key role in quality control, data analysis, and maintaining lab standards to GMP/GLP guidelines. Ideal for someone with early lab experience and a scientific mindset, this role offers scope to build technical skills while supporting essential diagnostics work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Evaluating raw materials and in-process components such as plates, buffers, and conjugates
- Manufacturing, dispensing, and labelling kit components
- Carrying out calibrations and routine equipment maintenance
- Analysing data and presenting results clearly
- Supporting the wider manufacturing team with day-to-day lab tasks
- Maintaining a safe and compliant lab environment in line with GMP/GLP
- Following detailed protocols and working proactively as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Proven lab-based experience (industry or academic)
- Understanding of ELISA and PCR techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP practices
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Able to follow procedures and adapt to new tasks
- A collaborative and proactive approach
- Degree in a life sciences subject or equivalent lab experience preferred
