We are looking for a nurturing, full-time Teaching Assistant to join us from April 2026. This is an exciting and unique job opportunity. You’ll start your journey with our Key Stage 2 pupils, providing the vital support they need to thrive. By the time September 2026 arrives, you won’t just be "the new person"—you’ll be a trusted face ready to welcome our very first cohort of EYFS pupils into their stunning new building and landscaped gardens.

We aren’t just looking for someone to follow policies; we want a teammate with a great sense of humour, a strong presence, and the innovation to help us launch this exciting new chapter. The successful candidate must hold a Full and Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or above. The school is looking for a "hands-on" practitioner. Your daily tasks will shift as you move from KS2 to EYFS, but the core pillars remain:

  • Teaching & Learning Support
  • Planning & Prep: Helping teachers set up lessons and managing resources (both indoor and outdoor).
  • Literacy: A heavy focus on listening to pupils read and fostering a love for books.
  • Assessment: Observing and tracking how children are progressing to help teachers plan next steps.
  • Creative Displays: Creating interactive, child-friendly wall displays to celebrate student work.
  • Pupil Well-being & Environment
  • The "Nurture" Factor: Building self-esteem and confidence in children.
  • Behaviour Management: Maintaining high standards of conduct and safety.
  • Inclusion: Ensuring every child, regardless of background or ability, is included and supported.
