Cranleigh School is a leading co-educational boarding and day school, seeking two Sports Graduate Assistants to join our sports department from mid-August 2026. This role works across Senior (13‑18) and Prep (3‑13) schools within a programme renowned for national excellence and inclusive participation. We are looking for proactive team players who act as role models for our pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Coach & Officiate: Lead sessions in at least two core sports (Hockey, Rugby, Football, Cricket, Netball, Tennis).
  • Support Academics: Assist degree specialism with opportunities for team‑teaching and classroom support.
  • Pastoral Care: Act as a Tutor, deliver PSHE content, and support the boarding community through weekly evening duties.
  • Co‑Curricular: Assist with outdoor education, house competitions, and wider activity programme.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Proficiency in two core sports, experience working with young people, excellent communication skills.
  • Desirable: 2:1 degree (or above) in a relevant subject and experience across Prep and Senior age groups.

Mindset: Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils within a boarding context.
