Cranleigh School is seeking an enthusiastic proficient Spanish speaker, on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract, to join our ambitious Modern Foreign Languages Department. The Role

  • Conversation Lead: Deliver 18 hours of 1:1 or small group speaking sessions.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Share authentic insights into Hispanic culture through lessons and extracurricular events (film nights, debating, quizzes).
  • Academic Support: Prepare resources, provide feedback, and assist with ab initio learners.
  • School Life: Act as a Tutor within a Boarding House and contribute to our vibrant co‑curricular program.

The Person

  • Fluent: Excellent command of Spanish, equivalent to native‑level fluency with a deep understanding of Hispanic customs and current affairs.
  • Engaging: Able to build rapport with teenagers and make language learning accessible.
