Join the dynamic communications team at Cranleigh, a prestigious independent day and boarding school. We are seeking a motivated specialist to play a central role in articulating our vision, sharing our stories, and connecting our thriving community across both Prep and Senior sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Earned Media: Build journalist relationships, draft press releases, manage the Cision database, and secure media opportunities for Senior Management.
  • Content & Channels: Manage the school-wide communications calendar, produce creative newsletters, and develop internal comms channels.
  • Events: Support the execution of school events, conferences, and summits through the production of high-impact programs and media coverage.

You are a passionate communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You are proactive, digitally savvy, and possess exceptional writing skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record in a Press Office, Communications Manager, or Agency role. (Experience in independent education is a plus).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the UK media landscape, excellent proofreading, and proficiency in Mailchimp, Canva, and CMS.
  • Qualities: A positive, reliable team player with strong project management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
