Job Description

Location: City, London

Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office

Salary: £38,000- £50,000 DOE + Bonus

  • Great bonus system – dependent on company success – anything between 3 and 16% with the average for the last 5 years being 7%
  • Salary is flexible depending upon experience – if you are Chartered then the salary may be higher than advertised.

The Client and role details:

  • Our client is an established independent IFA, based in a convenient location in centre of London, Close to St Pauls.
  • Whilst the company has over 80 staff and continues to grow, it offers a great balance of being established in this way but keeping a close collaborative team feel through pod systems.
  • For this role, you will be working in a pod system with 1 Advisers and 1 x Administrator. However, with over 30 Paraplanners in the company overall, and many who’s role it is to work across pods, there is more than enough support
  • This role is all about collaboration. You will work closely with the Adviser on each client's financial plan, you will have exposure to the whole process, including full research, bespoke reports and cash flow modelling
  • The adviser currenely has a focus on the annual review process, so a paraplanner who has ample exposure to this process is essential. The new business coming in for this adviser off the back of his servicing is complex and he is keen to collaborate closely with the paraplanner on this.
  • The role also comes with ample client contact so a paraplanner who enjoys client contact as part of their role is also desirable.

This could be a great move for any established paraplanner with some excellent benefits and work life balance, or equally for any junior the role offers the opportunity to be collaborating with an established adviser and a wider range of paraplanners and relishing the chance to join a company with a tried and tested model over the years for developing Junior talent into exceptional paraplanners, or furthermore into Advisers.
