Cranleigh Music is seeking to appoint a highly qualified, experienced and versatile teacher of singing with a particular emphasis on popular/contemporary styles to commence in September 2026. Initially the post will involve teaching for up to one day per week but there is potential for this to expand.
Responsibilities
- Teach singing for up to one day per week, with potential to expand.
- Coach and inspire pupils across a wide variety of contemporary styles and student abilities in both solo singing and close harmony/ensemble work.
- Incorporate aural training and sight‑singing into vocal lessons.
- Maintain a professional appearance, punctuality and efficient lesson organisation.
Qualifications
- Highly qualified, experienced, and versatile teacher of singing with emphasis on popular/contemporary styles.
- Proven track record of coaching and inspiring students.
- Excellent organisational, literacy, and professional appearance skills; punctual.
