We are looking for a practical, reliable Facilities Manager to join our small friendly team. This is a hands-on role managing building maintenance, health & safety, and event set-ups.

Key Duties

  • Day-to-day building maintenance and repairs
  • Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and records
  • Manage contractors, cleaning staff and routine servicing schedules
  • Set up rooms for events and hires (seating, staging, furniture)
  • Ensure safe use of equipment, including piano moving
  • Manage bar, cafe and cleaning stocks

About You

  • Experience in facilities or building maintenance
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH
  • Practical DIY skills; able to carry out physical tasks including lifting
  • Organised, reliable, and a clear communicator with good IT skills
  • Interest in the arts or community sector (desirable)
