We are looking for a practical, reliable Facilities Manager to join our small friendly team. This is a hands-on role managing building maintenance, health & safety, and event set-ups.
Key Duties
- Day-to-day building maintenance and repairs
- Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and records
- Manage contractors, cleaning staff and routine servicing schedules
- Set up rooms for events and hires (seating, staging, furniture)
- Ensure safe use of equipment, including piano moving
- Manage bar, cafe and cleaning stocks
About You
- Experience in facilities or building maintenance
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH
- Practical DIY skills; able to carry out physical tasks including lifting
- Organised, reliable, and a clear communicator with good IT skills
- Interest in the arts or community sector (desirable)
