Lunchtime Supervisor in Kettering

We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work 8.75 hours per week, term time, Monday - Friday, within a team to make the lunchtime experience for our children positive, happy and healthy. At Cranford, our focus is upon the whole child. We are looking to appoint someone who:

• Strives to make the lunchtime experience for our children as positive as possible by building good relationships and responding to playground issues fairly.
• Understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy.
• Has high expectations of healthy eating and table manners and supports the children to develop good eating habits.
• Builds supportive and respectful relationships with children while maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct.
• Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop skills, including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
• Is an energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models our values and ethos at all times.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to safeguarding children’s welfare both at home and in school.
