Casual Hospitality Assistant in Cranfield

• To ensure that all students, guests, staff, and customers are treated in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner and receive a high level of customer service.
• To plan and carry out duties assigned by the Hospitality Manager, Hospitality Supervisor, Food and Beverage Operations Manager, or other authorised senior member of the Hospitality team in an efficient and timely manner.
• To prepare lecture rooms, hospitality areas, food and beverage service stations, and other designated areas for service, ensuring they are set up to the required standard.
• To ensure that all food and beverage service areas, lecture rooms, and hospitality areas are maintained in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition at all times, and that relevant cleaning schedules are completed and signed as required.
• To use and maintain equipment correctly and safely, in accordance with training and manufacturer's instructions, and immediately report any faults or defects to the Hospitality Manager/Supervisor or Food and Beverage Manager.
• To follow all food handling, food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures and regulations at all times.
• To ensure that refreshments, food, beverages, and other deliveries are transported safely, securely, and in a timely and professional manner, maintaining appropriate food safety and hygiene standards during transportation.
• To assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, equipment, food, beverages, and hospitality supplies, ensuring items are handled safely and appropriately.
