Join an exceptional team at Cranfield Conference Centre! We are looking for a genuine person with warmth and enthusiasm, who will bring a positive can-do attitude to work every day.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the kitchen and associated areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition, including floors within and leading into the kitchen.
- Ensure all service wear and cooking items are thoroughly washed, cleaned and dried and returned to designated storage areas.
- Ensure all chemicals and cleaning products are used as directed by the manufacturer and in accordance with the training given.
- Maintain records for all cleaning duties undertaken during shift.
- Use and maintain equipment in the department as trained and to report immediately any faults to the Duty Chef.
- Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used as specified by COSHH guidelines.
- Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by a member of the management team.
- Comply with company procedures and legal requirements, including Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with departmental working instructions.
Uniform and meals on duty are provided.
