* Championing a user centred ethos at Craneware and ensuring all products have the user at their heart.
* Working closely with Principal UX to strategically shape both our products and UX as a discipline within Craneware.
* Planning and implementing large scale, end-to-end UX projects involving multiple teams and disciplines from across Craneware.
* Mentoring more junior members of the UX team to support their development and ensure our work is best in class.
* Evaluating and distilling complex requirements from an array of internal and external stakeholders to help create clear, user centred project visions.
* Facilitating conversations and co-creation workshops, e.g. Design Sprints, with multi-disciplinary teams to help drive Craneware products forward.
* Collaboratively creating early concepts and prototypes to test initial ideas and direction.
* Creating appropriate UX deliverables for the project at hand e.g. low and high fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes, personas, user journeys etc.
* Designing elegant and intuitive journeys that help users make sense of complex data and regulation.
* Working collaboratively with engineers, product managers and analysts to ensure every product’s vision is brought to life and meets the needs of its users.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Craneware products, systems and processes.
- Exposure to planning and facilitating discovery and co-creation workshops with customers and internal stakeholders e.g. Design Sprints.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and experience with the latest web standards including HTML5 and CSS3.

- Comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences.

- Self-motivated and able to prioritise and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.

Experience
- 3+ years working within a UX role either in a customer-side or agency setting.
- Experience in all of the areas of UI design, visual design or UX design with strong experience in at least one.
- Experience interpreting and disseminating project requirements from multiple sources.
- Experience creating UX deliverables including wireframes, clickable prototypes, personas, user journeys etc.
- Experience in UX and accessibility best practices.
- Experience in planning and facilitating usability testing sessions both face to face and remotely.
- Experience in a variety of design/wireframing/prototyping tools, e.g. Axure, Sketch, UX Pin etc.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of designers, product managers, developers etc.
