Responsibilities
- Accountable for productivity, supervision and discipline of employees.
- Train and advise employees on job specific duties.
- Assist and support management team with strategic planning of the operation and new business.
- Show initiative and make suggestions for process improvements.
- Effective communication with clients, vendors and employees.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
- Completes performance appraisals on direct reports semi-annually and provides on-going feedback on work performance.
- Advises and enforces Health and Safety, customs and trade compliance.
- Ensure the operation achieves internal and client KPI’s.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Physically fit and able to think on your feet work in a fast pace environment.
- Regularly lift and/or move 25kgs and occasionally lift and/or move 25kgs.
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
