Responsibilities include:
- Drives product KPI compliance and milestone updates.
- Provides guidelines to Export, Import and Gateway to ensure transactional operations are consistent with group business strategy and compliant with the local business environment.
- Monitors quality and adherence to standards and is responsible for constant improvement and optimization of product means.
- Develops a high-performance service culture within the Export and Import Departments.
- Ensures realisation of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectives.
- Directly supports, negotiates, and administers contracts with Airlines and vendors supporting the Air Product.
- Develops and oversees the Air procurement strategy, approach and business rules for carrier selection and utilization.
- Leads and directs engagement with carrier performance management.
- Accountable for results of a large multi-category department, supply chain, or complex product lines, ensuring that performance meets overall business needs, including strategy, cost, cost savings, direction, and people management.
- Ensures performance meets overall business needs at a global and regional level.

Strong knowledge of contracting, negotiating, organization development/change management, budgeting, action planning and supervision are required for successful performance.
