Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges. As a Contract Logistics Pricing Analyst, your primary responsibility is to create pricing strategies that enhance profitability and competitiveness in our warehousing & Contract Logistics operations. You will be the main point of contact during the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring a customer-centric approach and alignment with pricing strategies.
In this role, you will work closely with various members of the Crane WW team to gather essential pricing data and requirements, including input from Commercial, Solution design engineers optimising warehouse layout and staffing, and developing financial analysis models for executive-level evaluation.
Essential Job Functions:- Responsible for pricing new business and existing clients and providing analytical support to improve our cost models.
- Analyses complex opportunities and develops comprehensive cost models to support pricing.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and maintain pricing strategies for warehouse services, including storage, handling, and value-added services, considering cost factors, market conditions, and profitability goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation of the scope of work and assumptions for all integrated logistics opportunities. Identify potential risks and propose alternatives to mitigate risk.
- Contract Management: Manage pricing and rate agreements with clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in pricing strategies, tools, and processes and work with the team to implement enhancements.
