Essential Job Functions

  • Monitoring the import mailbox.
  • Respond to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Dealing with queries timely.
  • Review invoices and assign import tariff & customs procedure codes.
  • Checking invoices to make sure all other information is present to support an import clearance.
  • Providing import clearance instructions to the party responsible for import clearance.
  • Support with classification of import tariff codes.
  • Manage log data entry.
  • File management to support archiving of email communication and documents relating to a shipment's clearance.
  • Interrogate systems to support investigation.
  • Follow established work instructions, processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Expert / Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and energetic with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
