The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for a key member of the overall finance team to look after GL transactions/reconciliations, preparing and auditing of customer rebate claims, managing various sub ledgers and ad hoc requests.
Principle Responsibilities
- Review & issue of weekly and monthly cost reports and review with the departmental owners, responding to any queries.
- Preparation and audit of customer rebates and claims.
- Timely raising & posting of customer credit notes.
- Preparation & posting of journals.
- Cover for payment runs and various payments throughout the month.
- Administrator for our expense systems.
- Completion of period end balance sheet reconciliations using our Blackline system.
- Fixed asset management including asset register and depreciation, additions and disposals, asset control and verification.
- Documentation for audit purposes.
- Full participation in the annual stock take.
- Prepare and communicate monthly cycle count accuracy reports and follow up on any queries.
- Assist with external and internal audit information preparation and auditor questions.
- Identification and implementation of improvement ideas and participation in continuous improvement events.
- Other ad-hoc requests as required.
Qualifications/Experience/Training
- AAT qualified or working towards this.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Previous experience of an integrated ERP system - QAD would be an advantage.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing business would be an advantage.
