Position Summary & Objective: We are looking for a strategic and customer‐focused Product Manager to lead a portfolio of products and security features within the digital identity market (I.D.), both physical and digital. These could include Passports, Drivers licences and ID cards. This role will play a critical part in shaping our product line to meet evolving market demands in the government services and identity management sectors.

As the Product Manager, you will drive product discovery, define and execute go‐to‐market strategies, and engage directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams – including sales, engineering, marketing, and operations – to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant identity solutions.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position:

  • Assesses current and future market requirements through ongoing interaction with customers and key internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
  • Utilizes financial and other metrics to gauge the health of the product line and respond accordingly.
  • Performs market discovery and validation activities and distil findings to inform product strategy.
  • Drives future roadmap requirements through ongoing interaction with customers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Supports the identification of go‐to‐market strategy through understanding and prioritising customer buyer & user persona segments.
  • Develops and maintains business partnerships that help support the product strategy.
  • Serves as a product evangelist across marketing, sales, and services organisations to help them understand the vision, roadmap, and best practices of the product offering.
  • Performs win/loss analysis to better understand customer assessment processes, customer perceptions of competitors and Crane, and other critical customer insight.
  • Assesses the competitive environment and creates "battle cards" to assist the sales team in discussing Crane relative competitive positioning.
  • Supports the successful launch of new products and features, including internal and external deployment planning and launch implementation, managing against KPIs.
  • Runs internal stakeholder feedback sessions and drives cross‐functional strategy planning groups.
  • Assesses current and future customer challenges and opportunities to get ahead of technical design cycles for new products, features, or solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in the I.D. market, preferably with product management or owner experience.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and partners.
  • Experience working with the Pragmatic Institute / Pragmatic Marketing framework is preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Analytical thinking – able to review customer interviews and determine how to distill into key themes and recommendations that can be shared across the organisation.
  • Ability to rapidly grasp technology and trends and make recommendations on future roadmap integration.
  • Ability to make critical assessments of single‐customer technology advancements, and the ability to commercialise custom projects through targeting wider customer segments, defining priorities and go‐to‐market plans.
  • Directly customer‐facing, with the ability to distill customer market problems into actionable product strategy.
  • Strong collaborator, able to achieve product objectives through working with wide‐reaching internal stakeholders, from technology teams to marketing.
  • Able to demonstrate an innovative approach to product road‐mapping, including early‐stage (pre‐product) market testing.
  • Adept at navigating technology‐first conversations to identify and assess commercial and customer‐driven implications and opportunities.
  • Analytical thinker, able to recognise market needs, distill strategy into executable initiatives, and crisply communicate plans across the organisation.
  • Ability to work across geographically distributed cross‐functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex business and technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.

Working Hours and Conditions: Office and Remote. Flexibility to work with and provide support for several people.
