Our internal Software Development Engineering team combine their software and electronics skills to establish solutions to integrating instrumentation into user friendly systems. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest instrumentation and apply your creativity to implement PC based solutions in different environments to continue to push the innovation within the business and in turn enjoy the challenges that you are looking for.
As a Druck Test & Measurement Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Create new software, firmware and electronic solutions using the latest technologies to enable successful testing of Druck products.
- Analyse, maintain and update new and existing software applications to support hardware refresh activities.
- Perform fault finding diagnostics on integrated software & electronic systems.
- Produce and maintain clear software documentation in line with Druck standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations in all Druck manufacturing sites.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree qualified or suitable previous experience in a software programming discipline.
- Genuine desire to solve problems in a real-world setting.
- Able to demonstrate skills from listening and self-learning.
- Demonstrate good Mathematical/Statistical skills.
- Able to communicate and relay problems in a concise manner.
- Comfortable working on individual and group projects.
It would be beneficial if you are able to demonstrate experience in the following, but note this is not a requirement to be a successful candidate:
- Experience with C++ or C# languages and associated development environments, i.e. Qt/Visual Studio.
- Have knowledge and awareness of electronic principles, and how software integrates with electronic logic circuits.
