Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight to the business.

You’ll work closely with operational teams, contributing to decision-making through meaningful analysis, while gaining exposure across both FP&A and core financial processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Principle Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the FP&A team and wider business to deliver clear, insightful financial analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and the annual operating plan.
  • Assist in evaluating new product initiatives through investment appraisal and business case analysis.
  • Develop and enhance sales and margin reporting, including supporting BI system implementation.
  • Provide insight to support inventory management, including excess and obsolete stock analysis.
  • Contribute to monthly performance reporting, helping explain key drivers and variances.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reviews.
  • Collaborate across the FP&A function to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen) to enhance efficiency and insight.
  • Support audit requirements and standard costing processes.
Qualifications/Experience/Training:
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Strong Excel skills with a keen interest in data.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Some exposure to a manufacturing environment is ideal although not essential.
