Manager – Talent, Learning & Internal Communications

As part of our growth we are looking for a Talent, Learning & Internal Communications in Gateshead or Basingstoke where you will be a Key influential member of the global HR team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager – Talent, Learning & Internal Communications and Culture will play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the organization. This role will design and deliver programs that attract, develop, engage, and retain talent while strengthening internal communication and driving a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and performance excellence.
1. Talent Management
- Partner with business and HR leaders to identify talent priorities and build development plans for critical roles and successors.
- Support the execution of talent review processes, succession planning, and career path frameworks.
- Lead talent analytics and reporting to inform data-driven people decisions.
2. Learning & Development
- Design and implement learning interventions that support leadership development, technical capability building, and functional excellence.
- Oversee onboarding programs, ensuring a consistent and engaging new hire experience.
- Manage learning platforms, vendor relationships, and evaluation of learning impact.
- Facilitate learning sessions and contribute to the creation of blended learning content (virtual and in-person).
3. Internal Communications
- Develop and execute the internal communication strategy aligned to organizational priorities and values.
- Partner with leadership to craft messages for company-wide announcements, employee updates, and engagement campaigns.
- Manage communication channels (Intranet, etc.) ensuring clear, timely, and consistent messaging.
- Curate and promote employee stories that highlight purpose, collaboration, and impact.
4. Culture & Engagement
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including surveys, focus groups, and action planning.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to strengthen organizational culture and values through recognition, inclusion, and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead execution of company-wide culture and engagement campaigns and events.
- Track culture metrics and share insights to drive continuous improvement.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to connect culture, talent, and learning initiatives.
- Data-driven approach to evaluating program effectiveness.
- Excellent facilitation, storytelling, and content creation abilities.
- Proficient in using HR tools, LMS, and communication platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in HR roles, preferably with exposure to talent management, L&D, and internal communications.
