As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Sr Account Manager for the UK to join our global Sales team and take ownership of the UK market. This role suits a commercially minded salesperson who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and closing deals. We are looking for someone comfortable working independently, creating opportunities and taking ownership from day one.
Position Summary & Objective: You will be responsible for growing revenue across the UK territory. This includes managing and developing existing customers but importantly also identifying, approaching and winning new customers. A key part of the role is building your own sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and self-generated opportunities. The UK will be your primary market; however, you may also support other regions or markets if required. You will spend time understanding customer challenges, presenting solutions and working with internal teams to bring deals to completion.
What you will be doing:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing UK customers
- Proactively prospecting and approaching new organizations to generate opportunities
- Building and maintaining your own qualified sales pipeline and forecast
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Leading customer meetings, presentations and proposals
- Handling commercial discussions and supporting contract negotiations
- Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and forecast
- Working closely with product, operations, finance and legal teams
- Representing the company at customer meetings and industry events
- Keeping Salesforce updated to support visibility and planning
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in B2B or consultative sales
- Experience generating your own pipeline and winning new business
- Confidence managing the full sales cycle, from first contact to close
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A practical, commercial mindset and ability to work independently
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus)
Nice to have:
- Experience in new business or business development focused sales roles
- An existing professional network in the UK market
- Experience generating leads through networking or industry events
- Experience working in a consultative or complex sales environment
- Additional languages are a plus
