As part of our growth we are looking for an Associate Director, Commercial based in the UK where you will be a key influential member and leader within the global Commercial team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position of Associate Director, Commercial, will lead commercial services for Brand Authentication and Licensing.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position:
  • Develops and executes Commercial strategies targeting the Brand market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CA Sales, Product, Operations and other stakeholders to provide commercial and contract support and go to market initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with key customers and partner stakeholders.
  • Develops and manages both simple and complex quotation/ RFP/RFI and contract processes.
  • Generates commercial contracts and vehicles to support CA business objectives.
  • Provide post contract management services, change control and dispute resolution management on key accounts.
  • Monitors and reports on regulatory trends and applicable laws impacting customers and prospects in the Brand space to drive innovation and differentiation.
  • Deliver compelling bids and proposals which comply with CA governance policies.
  • Provide reports and whitepapers to inform pipeline opportunities, product management decisions and senior leadership.
  • Close collaboration with Commercial leaders to ensure alignment and sharing of best practice.
  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to inform Brand decisions.
  • Identifies emerging trends and customer needs.
  • Champion in digital and data-driven approaches to enhance brand engagement.
  • Provides guidance, direction and management of Commercial, Brand team members.
Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Law, Business, or related field.

Experience: 8-10 years in commercial pre and post contract management and commercial transformation/strategy with 3+ years in B2B contracting. 2+ years’ people management.

Certifications/Licenses: MCIPs, Prince or Six Sigma; WorldCC-accredited a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management, Commercial law skills, incl GDPR, contracts and related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with standards like ISO.
