A pioneering technology eCommerce company is seeking a Senior Digital Analyst to lead its efforts in understanding and optimising customer behaviours and marketing effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Behaviour Analysis: Deeply analyse customer behaviour data to uncover trends, preferences, and opportunities that enhance customer experience and drive engagement. Segment customer data to inform targeted marketing strategies and improve customer retention and lifetime value. Provide actionable recommendations to optimise customer journeys across various touchpoints.
- Marketing Analytics and Attribution: Develop and refine advanced attribution models to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and prove return on investment (ROI). Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to inform spend optimisation and campaign adjustments. Work closely with the marketing team to set up robust reporting frameworks that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to align data insights with business goals and customer needs. Support external partners by providing data insights that help them achieve their objectives. Educate and champion the use of data-driven decision-making across the organisation, ensuring that all teams are leveraging customer and marketing insights effectively.
- Tool and System Management: Maintain and enhance data analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Looker, and Datorama to ensure they effectively support customer and marketing analytics. Assist in the development and implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that consolidates customer interactions across all channels for comprehensive analysis. Work with product and engineering teams to incorporate customer insights into the development of new products and services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in web-based analytics, customer and marketing analytics, with a strong focus on deriving insights that drive customer engagement and optimise product and marketing strategies. Expertise in building and implementing advanced attribution models to measure marketing effectiveness. Experience working in an e-Commerce business.
- Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Looker, and Datorama to extract and analyse customer and marketing data. Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with SQL and experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or similar platforms. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BigQuery, Segment, and other advanced data tools. A background in marketing data analysis, particularly within a high-growth tech company or agency.
