Cranberry Panda is partnering with a confidential, high-growth consumer brand to hire a Growth Director for its UK business. This is an opportunity to join a well-funded international company at a key stage of growth, taking ownership of customer acquisition strategy and helping scale the next phase of the business in the UK market. The role is ideal for a commercially minded growth leader who enjoys building scalable acquisition engines, testing new ideas quickly, and operating in a fast-moving environment with high levels of ownership and autonomy.
The Role
- Own the UK acquisition strategy across paid social, paid search, affiliates and digital growth channels, driving efficient customer growth and commercial performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across ecommerce, analytics, creative and brand, while helping shape the future direction of growth marketing within the region.
- Combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, balancing commercial planning, channel optimisation, experimentation and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the UK performance marketing strategy across paid social, paid search, affiliate and emerging acquisition channels.
- Manage media budgets, forecasting, pacing and channel performance.
- Lead campaign strategy across platforms including Meta, Google, YouTube and TikTok.
- Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap across creative, audiences, landing pages and offers.
- Partner with creative teams to improve testing velocity and campaign performance.
- Analyse marketing and commercial performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimise spend efficiency.
- Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance insights for senior stakeholders.
- Identify and test new acquisition opportunities, partnerships and scalable growth channels.
- Collaborate closely with ecommerce, analytics, product and brand teams.
- Manage agency and external partner relationships where required.
- Support the development and growth of a high-performing marketing team.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, test-and-learn culture focused on continuous improvement.
About You
- Significant experience in growth, performance or acquisition marketing within high-growth ecommerce or consumer brands.
- Proven track record scaling customer acquisition for DTC or digitally led brands within the UK market.
- Experience operating at Director or senior leadership level within a scaling business environment.
- Experience managing sizeable marketing budgets and delivering against ambitious commercial growth targets.
- Strong hands-on expertise across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and broader paid acquisition channels.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, attribution, incrementality testing and media efficiency.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with confidence using analytics and attribution platforms such as GA4, Northbeam, Shopify Analytics, Polar or similar.
- Experience building structured experimentation frameworks across creative, audiences, landing pages and offers.
- Strong understanding of full-funnel growth strategy, including acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable operating autonomously within a lean, entrepreneurial business.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Adaptable, proactive and commercially driven, with a strong bias towards action and problem solving.
