- Taking commercial ownership of the website and its day-to-day performance

- Turning trading data and customer behaviour into clear actions
- Leading the online trading calendar across campaigns, promotions and product launches
- Making sure products are presented in the right way and easy for customers to discover
- Finding opportunities to improve the customer journey and remove barriers to purchase
- Testing new ideas and using the results to shape what happens next
- Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, UX and Tech
- Connecting trading activity with stock, product and wider business priorities
- Keeping multiple projects moving in a busy retail environment
- Managing and developing a junior member of the trading team
- What we’re looking for
- An experienced Digital Trading Manager from a retail background
- Someone who has already owned the commercial performance of a sizeable Ecommerce website
- Strong trading instincts and confidence making decisions from the numbers
- A track record of improving sales, conversion and customer journeys
- Good knowledge of online merchandising, testing and Ecommerce platforms
- Comfortable asking questions, challenging thinking and influencing stakeholders
- Able to balance immediate trading priorities with longer-term improvements
- Experience managing or developing a junior team member
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
