Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will oversee menu planning, stock management, food safety compliance, staff supervision and kitchen budgets. You will support and develop your team, creating a positive culture focused on quality, consistency and resident satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef looking to lead a kitchen where the food they prepare has a meaningful impact on residents' health, wellbeing and quality of life.

What Matters Most

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen compliance and stock control
  • Experience leading, motivating and developing a kitchen team
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, rotas and kitchen operations effectively
  • A positive, reliable and quality focused approach
  • Previous experience within a care environment is beneficial but not essential
