Craighead Diocesan School is a high-achieving state-integrated girls’ boarding and day school in Timaru, catering for students from Years 7–13.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and innovative Digital/DVC technology teacher to join our wonderful teaching team from January 2027.

Please indicate your technology subject specialities and any additional curriculum areas in which you have strengths.

This is a part-time teaching position. The successful applicant will

  • Inspire and engage young women through creative, meaningful and aspirational learning experiences.
  • Personalise learning to meet the interests, aspirations and diverse needs of our students.
  • Be familiar with the New Zealand Curriculum and have experience teaching NCEA through to senior level.
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity and innovation to the Technology curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a collegial and supportive teaching team.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school through co-curricular involvement.
  • Support and actively contribute to the special character of Craighead Diocesan School.

Applicants must be New Zealand Registered Teachers, reside in New Zealand, and have appropriate teaching experience and qualifications.
