Working closely with the HEA Director, Administration Manager and volunteer committee, the Project Coordinator will oversee the day-to‑day delivery of the grant‑funded programme, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget and in line with the project's objectives.
The role will involve coordinating people, managing project timelines, organising events, liaising with freelance specialists and partners, supporting marketing activity and maintaining accurate project records for monitoring and evaluation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding and developing one of Britain's traditional craft skills.
Fixed Term Freelance Contract
Duration: mid October 2026 - end September 2027
Hours: Approximately 1.5-2 days per week (flexible)
Fee: £25 per hour Location: Hybrid/Remote with occasional travel within the UK
