We are growing. We need someone to own our mobilisation process β from deal award through to operational go-live β and make sure every new contract starts exactly as it should: completely prepared, on time, and without gaps. This is a pivotal cross-functional role based at our HQ in Martock, Somerset. You will coordinate across Operations, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, SHEQ, Service, and Training. You will build the plans, drive the actions, track the milestones, and resolve the blockers before they become problems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end mobilisation of new contracts and projects from award through to operational go-live.
- Build and manage detailed mobilisation plans, timelines, and trackers across multiple live projects.
- Coordinate internal teams β Operations, Procurement, Finance, HR, Logistics, SHEQ, Service, Training β to confirm readiness.
- Ensure all compliance documentation, RAMS, permits, and operational paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
- Identify risks and blockers early and resolve them before they impact delivery.
- Manage internal stakeholder communication throughout each mobilisation lifecycle.
- Confirm that all labour, materials, plant, equipment, and consumables are ready before site start.
- Maintain mobilisation status dashboards and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement of mobilisation processes and documentation standards.
- Chair and attend internal mobilisation planning and handover meetings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in project coordination, mobilisation, operations management, or contract start-up.
- Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously without losing control of the detail.
- Strong stakeholder management across departments and seniority levels.
- Structured, methodical approach to planning β you build plans that people can follow.
- Confident problem-solver who takes ownership and finds solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with project tracking or CRM tools.
- Background in cleaning systems, facilities management, engineering, manufacturing, or construction.
- Familiarity with RAMS, SHEQ compliance processes, or operational readiness protocols.
- Experience in a head office or central operations coordination function.
