As Night Manager, you will be the guardian of the hotel during overnight hours, ensuring the site runs seamlessly and guests experience the same level of care and professionalism as they would during the day.

This role is pivotal in balancing operational oversight, guest service, and essential administrative tasks.

Acting as the senior manager on duty, you will take ownership of the property, safeguard the site, and ensure all reporting and systems are up to date for the following day.

With an agile, hands‑on approach, you will contribute wherever needed from resolving guest issues to moving deliveries, all while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and brand excellence.

• Night Manager Responsibilities
• Lead overnight operations with confidence, acting as the senior representative of hotel management.
• Deliver a consistent, thoughtful guest experience resolving issues quickly .
• Oversee late arrivals, early departures, and ensure accuracy of guest billing and records.
• Take full responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and estate overnight.
• Conduct regular building checks, ensuring health & safety, fire, and security protocols are rigorously maintained .
• Provide visible leadership to other team members working overnight , ensuring they are engaged, supported, and delivering to standard.
• Step in where needed from assisting with moving deliveries to resolving maintenance issues .
• Monitor occupancy, reservations, and ensure systems are prepared for the day team.
• Capture incidents, guest feedback, and operational updates in clear handovers for morning management.
• Action overnight communications, ensuring no detail is missed.
• Act as Duty Fire Officer, leading any emergency response with confidence.
• Maintain safeguarding and security protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Log and escalation incidents appropriately, ensuring transparency and accountability.
