Motion Designer in Newcastle upon Tyne

Motion Designer in Newcastle upon Tyne

Newcastle upon Tyne Full-Time No working from home possible
Craft

This is a genuinely national and international creative operation, run as an employee-owned business, from the North East. The work backs it up. This is one of the most awarded agencies outside London. The client roster runs from household-name food and drinks through to motorcycle and streaming brands.

The Role

Day-to-day, you'll work across the full client range rather than sitting on a single account - that means bringing storyboards to life by leading motion projects from concept development through to production-ready delivery, in After Effects and Premiere Pro, alongside editors and artworkers.

This is not a purely executional seat. The studio expects you to sketch thinking and shape early creative direction, and to present your work to clients directly. It's also a role at a live inflexion point in the discipline: you'll integrate generative AI where it strengthens the work, not just where it speeds it up.

The Package

Hybrid working: four days in studio, one day flexible

International travel for campaign shoots

Employee-owned business

The Person

You're a mid-level Motion Designer with several years in an agency, production house or in-house team. After Effects and Premiere are second nature, and you bring editing and grading knowledge alongside real motion craft.

You've cut master films down into social, OOH and platform edits at pace without losing quality - and you're already using generative AI in production and see it as a way to raise the bar.

A more diverse team is a more creative team.

It’s our job to build teams of people, and we’re proud to bring together a global network of diverse talent.

All applicants will be considered without regard to race, nationality, religious persuasion, sexual orientation, sex, marital or parental status, physical ability, gender, or age.
