Your Role
The Digital Commerce Designer will be part of an in‑house team dedicated to one of the biggest FMCG companies in the world. The purpose of the role is to deliver functional digital design for e‑commerce retailers, including experience in designing for digital brand stores.
Your Responsibilities
- Design Delivery
- Develop design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and client strategies.
- Execute and produce ecommerce design communications for social, digital campaign, web pages and digital brand stores.
- Create product imagery; create lockups, layouts, and illustrations (icons and simple motion graphic elements).
- Use Adobe Firefly, existing brand assets, and stock imagery to produce timely, relevant content.
- Design in a variety of styles while maintaining consistently high standards of creativity and quality.
- Client Collaboration
- Partner with Creatives to develop concepts, with the ability to take projects from concept to completion.
- Present work confidently to clients.
- Consult with the account project manager to gather information about a product and determine the most effective visual expression.
- Work closely with the client on a daily basis—building strong, service‑driven relationships from brief through final execution.
- Problem‑Solving & Innovation
- Apply critical thinking to provide elegant and simple solutions.
- Explore new ways of working, including the creative use of GenAI tools, to drive innovation.
- Stay up to date with current design and digital trends, proactively bringing fresh thinking into the work while operating within brand guidelines.
- Execute design assignments independently.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Accurately log time, manage workloads effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Advanced knowledge of Firefly and other Generative AI (GenAI) tools, with a passion for exploring and applying them in creative workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint design.
- Nice to have: Splash design, HTML5 banner creation & design.
- Superior knowledge of software programs within the Mac environment.
- Familiarity with stock libraries (sourcing, selection, basic optimisation) and asset management best practices.
- Mindset & Approach
- Self‑motivated, professional, and detail oriented.
- Strong creative vision and problem‑solving abilities.
- Passionate about innovation—especially with GenAI—to push design boundaries.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience in eCommerce design for Consumer‑Packaged Goods.
- Experience within evolving standards and adapts quickly to high‑volume SKU requirements (including supplementary images and A+ content).
- Familiar with accessibility standards.
- Able to work onsite in Kingston one day per week and also at Bishopsgate.
