About Us
Craft & Crumb is a creative, design-led baking brand on a mission to make baking with kids fun, memorable, and beautifully simple. From award-winning baking kits to eco-friendly party bags, we’ve spent the past 10 years delighting families across the UK – now stocked in Tesco, Ocado, John Lewis, Selfridges and Amazon.
With 50% of our business already online and growing, we’re now launching a subscription model for our letterbox-sized baking + craft kits, and are looking for a motivated, results-driven Growth Marketer to lead our digital strategy and scale our direct-to-consumer business.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Growth Marketer with experience in subscription-based e-commerce, to lead marketing strategy, drive customer acquisition, improve retention, and grow online sales.
You’ll take charge of our overall marketing strategy, including developing our social media direction (especially Instagram and TikTok), and leading performance through our agency partners (paid ads, email, SEO). You’ll manage performance data, brief creatives, and oversee the subscription tech stack, reporting back to the founders with actionable insights.
This is a remote, flexible role, ideal for someone who thrives in a small, friendly team and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing purpose-led business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall marketing strategy across all digital touchpoints – from acquisition to retention and brand building.
- Develop social media direction and content pillars for Instagram and TikTok, working with creatives or creators as needed.
- Drive subscription growth: Shape and execute strategies to grow our new subscription model – from funnel performance to retention and engagement.
- Work with agency partners: Manage our digital agency (PPC, email, SEO), setting priorities, briefing creative direction, and optimising performance.
- Monitor and report on KPIs: Track CAC, LTV, churn, conversion rates, and all core metrics – using insights to iterate and improve results.
- Manage online sales performance: Oversee sales through our DTC website and Amazon – including promotions, CRO and customer journey.
- Own the subscription tech stack: Ensure smooth operation of the subscription platform (e.g. Shopify + ReCharge or equivalent), resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with founders: Report performance, identify growth opportunities, and shape overall online growth strategy.
- Contribute to creative direction: Feed into ad creative, landing pages and email campaigns that align with our playful, design-led brand.
About You
- Proven experience growing a subscription e-commerce brand (DTC/FMCG ideal).
- Experience leading or shaping an overall digital marketing strategy, including paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing.
- Confident managing agency partners and working cross-functionally.
- Comfortable developing Instagram and TikTok strategy, with an eye for trends and brand voice.
- Familiar with Shopify and tools like ReCharge, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager etc.
- Performance-minded with a creative edge – able to balance data with brand storytelling.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently within a small team.
- Passionate about building brands that bring joy to families and kids.
What We Offer
- Remote, flexible working – based around your life and schedule
- A small, friendly, founder-led team where your ideas matter
- The opportunity to make a real impact on a growing brand
- Optional co-working or team meet-ups in London/Surrey
- Competitive package – hours and structure negotiable
