The Position
Leading and line managing your team, made up of Project Managers and Delivery Managers, you'll oversee utilisation and resource planning across seven delivery squads, maintaining strong scope control and commercial discipline and ensuring consistent governance, reporting and planning standards. You'll be a visible leader in the office, a senior escalation point for delivery matters, who lends a helping hand where needed and inspires those around them to do their best work. You'll work closely with Heads of Development and account management too, to ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope and within agreed budgets. Accountable for the development and delivery performance across the agency, you'll keep a bird's eye view of all workstreams, making the most out of your strategic approach as well as your keen eye for detail, never missing a trick!
What We're Looking For
We're after someone with direct line management experience, so you'll be able to talk to us about all aspects of successfully leading delivery within a digital or eCommerce environment. You'll have a strong understanding of commercial project delivery, we're talking billable utilisation, scope control, governance and margin awareness. Any realistic implementation knowledge (particularly Agile/Scrum) would be ideal here! All in all, we want to speak to you if you're a calm, credible and decisive leader, someone who can not just manage crossâfunctional teams and oversee multiple concurrent client projects, but operate in a handsâon leadership capacity, holding teams accountable and staying on top of plenty of different moving parts.
