A specialist PR agency that works exclusively with the world’s best creative and brand design agencies is looking for a Group Account Director to lead their London operation. They’ve spent over a decade building genuine insider status in the design world – the kind of agency that understands both sides of the equation because they work in the same ecosystem as their clients.
The Role
You’ll lead a seven-person team managing clients across London and Northern Europe, reporting directly to the agency’s leadership team. This is strategic oversight, not task management – you’ll orchestrate performance across multiple accounts, identify where focus is needed without being told, and step in when senior relationships need attention. Your scope spans team leadership, coaching your account leads while ensuring consistent delivery; client leadership, where you’ll shape PR strategy to meet agency objectives and advise senior stakeholders as a trusted ally; and agency representation, contributing to the company’s industry profile alongside leadership.
The Package
- £70,000 – £80,000
- Hybrid working: three days in the office
- Private health insurance
- 25 days annual holiday plus birthday off & Christmas closure
- Genuine work/life balance culture
- Annual team weekend in Europe
The Person
A senior account person from PR or marketing with experience managing multiple accounts and teams, rather than day-to-day execution. You understand the creative and design industry through direct client work or agency experience, can operate strategically across numerous relationships simultaneously, and have the presence to handle issues with global agency heads. You value genuine work-life balance over corporate intensity.
