Employment Type: Part-Time (Job Share – 2 positions available)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Cracknells Hairdressing is a family-run, long-standing salon located just outside the town centre in Maidenhead. We are looking for two warm, professional, and reliable Front of House Receptionists to join our team in a job share arrangement.
As the face of the salon, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the salon. From managing bookings to offering refreshments and keeping things running behind the scenes, this is a dynamic and rewarding role in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
HOW THE JOB SHARE WORKS
- This is a shared role between two receptionists
- You will alternate weekends, ensuring each person gets every other weekend off
- During holiday periods, you’ll be expected to cover each other and work a full week (Monday–Saturday)
- Flexibility, reliability, and good communication between the two job share partners are essential
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Greeting clients warmly with a friendly, professional manner
- Making and serving drinks throughout their appointments
- Managing phone and walk-in appointment bookings
- Keeping stylist schedules running efficiently
- Maintaining accurate client information in the booking system
- Supporting salon cleanliness and presentation
- Handling payments and accurate end-of-day cashing up
- Posting relevant and engaging content on social media
- Recommending products and assisting with salon retail sales
- Liaising with the team to ensure a smooth client journey
