We are seeking a mid-level Computational Designer to join our team and contribute to the development and integration of computational design workflows across diverse projects. This role supports the Data-Driven Design team in deploying next-generation design technologies and collaborating with project teams to improve efficiency, innovation, and design quality.
Primary Activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of computational design tools and workflows at various stages of the design process.
- Support senior team members in engaging with project stakeholders to demonstrate computational strategies tailored to project goals.
- Contribute to custom scripting, visual programming, and automation tools that enhance design exploration and analysis.
- Create and maintain parametric models to support tasks from early-stage design through documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of computational design into broader project workflows.
- Assist in embedding performance metrics and basic analytics into project proposals and design iterations.
- Support internal documentation, prototyping, and team training for design technology initiatives.
- Participate in internal R&D or knowledge-sharing efforts within the studio.
Position Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in computational design within architecture or landscape architecture.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
