Edit Producer for new factual entertainment series (3 x 60) — Crackit TV

Crackit TV has been commissioned to produce a bold, funny and revealing new 3 x 60 prime‑time, presenter‑led factual entertainment series for a major UK broadcaster. We are looking for exceptional Edit Producers for 9‑week edits starting 21st September, 28th September & 5th October.

The series dives into the fast‑growing world of modern male self‑improvement: the lengths men now go to in pursuit of the perfect look, peak health and a longer life. It is immersive and unafraid, blending genuine warmth and emotion with shock, humour and real jeopardy, and it treats its contributors with respect even at its most eye‑opening.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Editor to shape storytelling across all three films, set and protect the tone, and lead a team to deliver television that is moving, intelligent and entertaining.
  • Turn each story into dynamic, visual television rather than a parade of meet‑and‑greet chats, building scenes with imagination, jeopardy and heart.
  • Manage 9‑week edit schedules, ensuring deliverables are realistic within the editing timeframe without compromising ambition.
Qualifications:
  • A strong track record of edit producing presenter‑led popular factual or factual entertainment, ideally bringing bold, sensitive or provocative subjects to life for a mainstream audience.
  • A genuinely visual storytelling brain and the tonal range to move between insight, humour, warmth and empathy, often within a single scene.
  • Calm under pressure, collaborative, highly organised and realistic about what is deliverable within the editing timeframe.

This job is Brighton based with five days per week in the edit facility in Brighton. We are proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer, valuing inclusivity, and we actively seek candidates from diverse backgrounds.
