Assistant Producer – Crackit Productions, Brighton
We’re producing a premium eight‑part documentary series for a major broadcaster, going behind the scenes at some of the UK’s busiest and most fascinating logistics hubs. The series explores the people, the pressure and the split‑second decisions that keep these key precincts running, capturing the operational drama and human stories that unfold on the front line.
Responsibilities
- Drive corporate access and contributor casting across multiple episodes.
- Act as the connective tissue between the production team and a wide range of external partners, from operations and communications teams to frontline staff and members of the public.
- Build trust and relationships that make access‑led filming possible.
- Persistently open doors that do not easily open, and keep them open once accessed.
- Maintain clear and constant communication with all stakeholders throughout the production process.
Qualifications
- Sharp, tenacious mindset with a nose for a story.
- Persistence to secure difficult access and casting opportunities.
- Excellent people skills for building and sustaining relationships.
- Thrives on the chase of access and casting for high‑profile factual series.
Location
Brighton based – work from our Brighton office three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday). The role starts early August and runs until the end of October.
